Copy What? - Week 4






Plagiarism- the abuse of ideas and words from the work of someone else.
Copy right- is concerned with original expression. Well taking reporting last semester, I realized how stringent the rules for plagiarism are. If caught you are given a warning, and the second offence you can be kicked out from the University of Florida.

While working in any of the communications fields it is extremely important to pay close attention to your writing. Many writers in the past, extremely famous writers have been caught "making up news."

PR and ethics?

In public relations we must always be ethical in our writing. It is our job to build trust with the client and its publics. Using better judgement as to whether or not a certain issue could be destructive can save a company. PR does not mean lie, it just means to move attention away from the negative aspects and more towards the positive ones.
